My wireless keyboard cannot open for change of batteries. I got a wired keyboard from a friend. How can i get it to work with IMac 27?

how do i get a wired keyboard on imac 27 which used wireless keyboard before?

The wired keyboard should just plug in and be recognized by your iMac Pro.


As for your wireless keyboard... if it's the newest generation of Apple keyboard, then no, it does not open up for battery replacement. But there is a small port on the edge that would be closest to the iMac while your using it. The port is for a Lightening cable as use by the iPhone and iPad. Connect your keyboard from this port to a USB port on your iMac to recharge the built-in keyboard battery.
