I have Iphone 10. In the past two months I have problem accessing WIFI even though it looks like I am connected. And when 4G is showing I also have some problem. Somehow this is connected to VPN even though I removed app from phone. Before WIFI is connected it will flash from 4G to VPN to WIFI at the top of the screen. I feel this problem was created by a software update. Any others with similar problem ?

VPN will not appear unless you have one installed. You say that you used on in the past, but removed it. Did you check in Settings>General>Profiles and see if there is a VPN profile there. Something is causing the phone to look for a VPN connection.

Thanks...very helpful...I found that I had to take an additional step to remove VPN. Seems ok now.
