Outlook email on iMac not syncing up with email on Mail for iPhone/iPad

I use Outlook on my iMac using an IMAP email account. However the same email account using Mail on iPhone and iPad is not syncing up with what it has on the iMac. That is, whenever I delete an email or move an email to a folder on Outlook for iMac the change isn't replicated on my iPhone/iPad.

Also, folders, that I've created on Outlook, don't appear on my iPhone/iPad. Is there a way for folders to sync up across all my devices?

How can I have this to sync effortlessly so I can get my work done no matter what device I use?

Hey erahi,

I see that you're having some trouble with emails syncing across devices even though they're set up as IMAP. I'll be happy to help out.

An Email Service Provider may have different settings for their mailboxes, so you may want to reach out to the Email Service Provider's website and ensure that there are no specific settings on your account that is preventing certain items from syncing up.

You can also check specific settings for your account on the iPhone and iPad by going to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > [your email account] > Click your account again at the top > Advanced. Here is where you can view settings for that specific email account.

You may also want to test removing the email account from one of these devices and adding it again, to see if it beings syncing normally again: Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Cheers!
