Siri is draining my battery
Why is Siri draining my battery. It happens even when Siri is turned off in settings. My phone can have a 100% charge before going to bed and the phone is dead in the morning.

Yesterday I reset my phone and now Siri is no longer a battery hog. Go to Settings and tap General > Reset >Reset All Settings. You will keep your data, emails etc but will have to re-setup things like apple pay, locations services and synching iMessage to our Mac or iPad.
I have the same problem when I upgraded to ios 13.5.1. Listen to hey siri is off but siri is still draining my battery.
iphone 11 pro
Don’t have an Apple Watch. Just 2 iPads, an iPhone 11pro and a Mac mini. All with Siri turned off. One iPad and the iPhone misbehave when it comes to battery life.
Has ios 13.6 solved this problem? Can I now turn on siri, icloud etc?
In my case, everything seems to work fine so far. It was already the case for 13.5.
This is not a realistic solution... Where is Apple on all this???
I will try this. I’ve been having battery problems for 2 months now. So disappointed. I’ve had Apple products for many many years. Thank you
I am experiencing the same issues! In addition, my phone is getting hot almost immediately when I use any kind of video or dictation. Has anyone found a solution yet?
Another thing I noticed with the battery issue. As long as it’s been going on, contacts frequently freeze or are very slow. I even had to restart the phone several times as it wouldn’t react.
It most definitely has got nothing to do with the router. It’s an iOS software bug!
So might replacing your iPhone with a Samsung Android. But what’s the point? Why should I sign out of a proprietary service to be able to use my phone?
I agree. What a disgrace. On a 1200$ half-year old phone!
Been quite a bit better since a couple of days. Can’t say if fully back to normal though. Seems still to drain a bit faster.
A shame they never acknowledged it.
Yes I also noticed a difference since this last update 13.7 on my ipad air (3rd generation) and iphoneXR. hopefully it stays working.
Same, I have an older phone so I just had the battery replaced. It was fine for a month or two but Siri is back even though it’s turned off. Very frustrating
I have the exact same issue. Siri using 50-70% battery and Mail coming in at 2nd. I also find that my contacts and other apps have also slowed down and become buggy, to a stage that is has become unusable for work. Its ironic as the problem only started a few weeks ago, as before that, it used to be a perfect phone. It possibly started when it upgraded to 13.4 or maybe from 13.4.1. I have tried all of the above mentioned solution, but still the same. And honestly, why do I have to shut it all off (Siri, Push, manual mail, etc), if it worked perfectly with everything on just a few weeks ago? It is definitely a software issue or there is some change that apple did that is causing these issues on some phones.
