Siri is draining my battery
Why is Siri draining my battery. It happens even when Siri is turned off in settings. My phone can have a 100% charge before going to bed and the phone is dead in the morning.

Battery Health says 100%. When I go to Battery usage Siri is at the top at 55% it has been as high as the 70's. The next is Mail at 20% background activity. I have gone through Settings and turned off show Siri suggestions in app and learn from this app which has helped some. My batter used to last almost 2 days. Last week it died in 5-6 hours with very little use.
Probably because of your Apple Watch Siri being on? Even with no hey Siri.
Don’t have an Apple Watch. Just 2 iPads, an iPhone 11pro and a Mac mini. All with Siri turned off. One iPad and the iPhone misbehave when it comes to battery life.
Has ios 13.6 solved this problem? Can I now turn on siri, icloud etc?
In my case, everything seems to work fine so far. It was already the case for 13.5.
This is not a realistic solution... Where is Apple on all this???
I had the same problem. Siri is spying on every app.. I went to each app and closed Siri. I also closed Siri out of Icloud..
I keep Siri on press button only... Battery is now fine.
I will try this. I’ve been having battery problems for 2 months now. So disappointed. I’ve had Apple products for many many years. Thank you
I am experiencing the same issues! In addition, my phone is getting hot almost immediately when I use any kind of video or dictation. Has anyone found a solution yet?
I have found that you have to go into each app you have and disable the Siri feature... Apple wants to "study" what you do with each app. This and disconnect siri from the Icloud should help.
Another thing I noticed with the battery issue. As long as it’s been going on, contacts frequently freeze or are very slow. I even had to restart the phone several times as it wouldn’t react.
I was also told by Apple to do a restore from cloud (aka not from a backup). Haven’t tried yet.
I also noticed the buggyness with contacts and messages just seemingly wasting memory and freezing.
Just started having this problem too but I have just made what may be a significant change. We have a new router. It could well be causing network issues. Could be worth trying a few tests.
It most definitely has got nothing to do with the router. It’s an iOS software bug!
This problem has a very easy solution. To solve all siri drainage problems:
Settings -> Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes & Appstore -> Sign Out
So might replacing your iPhone with a Samsung Android. But what’s the point? Why should I sign out of a proprietary service to be able to use my phone?
