Numbers: Make a graph that's attached to data that is constantly being added to?

for some reason this didn't work for me. I have a total row at the bottom of my table so I thought maybe that was throwing it off but, even when I take off the total row, it doesn't work.

Any other ideas on how to do this?

I am still not figuring it out. I am sure it is something simple I am missing, I am just new to Numbers.

Here is the actual table I am using:

Then I select both columns by 'shift-clicking':

Then I insert the pie graph I want:

Next I check the data reference:

Last I add an additional row of data, and recheck the data reference:

as you can see it didn't include the new row of data in the graph.

Is there anything you see that I may be doing wrong?

Hi Ian,

That's what I have been doing, so does that mean there isn't away for it to automatically add the new data to the chart when I add a row?
