my airpods are showing up as bluetooth speakers and i cant change their settings
In the little volume indicator it says that my AirPods are Bluetooth speakers rather than AirPods and I am unable to change their settings

See this:
- Place the connected AirPods in your ears and open the cover of the charging case
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth and select the circled “i” next to your AirPods
- Change the name or anything else on the screen
- For more detail: Adjust the settings of your AirPods
