Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.

No way ANYONE, even Apple, including Cox (internet provider too?) can know anything about your devices "health"

The only public facing stuff is your IP address and what internet browser you are using

As to how they get your number, phone books are easily downloaded, area codes are found on the internet then it’s just a number’s game and an auto dialer program.

In other words, it’s very easy to get phone numbers and hide behind an auto dialer and number spoof.

Apple, like most other legitimate businesses, will NEVER call out of the blue asking for personal info.
