Lost photos on iMac
I somehow lost 10 years of photos on my iMac and I have no idea how, or what I should do. Is there any kind of archive or recovery that Apple can do?

If you had iCloud Photos turned on then maybe they're stored in iCloud.com/Photos or perhaps within the recently deleted album? Perhaps a time machine backup? If you go to the storage section of About this Mac from the apple drop down menu in the top left corner, do you see photos taking up storage still?

If ten years is about all the photos you have, maybe you accidentally created a new library.
If you quit Photos, then re-launch it with the "option" key held down, how many libraries are offered?
