Bypassing iPhone 6 Plus internal audio processing

Hello, I have a rather unusual question concerning an audio issue. I’m getting a nice set of tower speakers and an integrated amplifier for a home stereo system. I’m using Tidal hi-fi music streaming. The way I understand it, I can connect the phone to an integrated amp using a 3.5mm to dual rca cable, but this is a headphone connection and not a true line level out signal and will be processed first by the iPhone before being sent to the integrated amp. I’ve read that the lightning connector can send an unprocessed, full line level signal out and bypass any processing by the iPhone. If this is true, can I use the lightning connector, and run a usb to usb cable from the lightning connector to an integrated amplifier and get a full line level out of what I believe is 2.1v, for the best sound quality? Thanks for any help anyone can give me!
