iCloud sharing and editing

Family safari trip with multiple cameras, I set up a shared album with shared file for each person. Each person can add or like a picture, can they delete pictures from their file? If not, can they download the pictures, delete/edit pictures and I if set up a different file for them can they send it back with their edit to the new file? Or is there an easier way?

Depending on how you set the album up, they should be able to delete their own pictures. From the article below.

If you're the owner of a Shared Album, you can delete any photos, videos, or comments from anyone. Subscribers can delete anything that they personally added. Anything you delete is automatically deleted from the album on all your devices and the devices of subscribers.
