This question was asked and answered several years ago but perhaps Numbers has changed. There no longer appears to be a Paste Text Only option in the Edit menu. I have cells that either contain formulas or are hotlinks. I only want to paste the numbers or the text, not the logic. Any suggestions?

In case it helps someone else, I was trying to do my pasting from the right-click menu. I just assumed that menu was identical to the options below Edit.
No problem. Often the names of menu items aren't what we expect or are used to. For instance, Numbers 2.3 from iWork '09 has the same item named "Paste Values." Other apps probably have still other names. LibreOffice Calc has a menu item with a sub-menu.
How can I copy a cell and paste only the contents without the underlying formula?
