I deleted my Calendar app a couple months ago. When I tried to re-download it, it just gives me the option to open it, which it does when I push open. Also, when I swiped right on my home screen, it is still installed as a widget, but the app icon is not on my phone. How do I get the icon back?

If you are seeing open, then it must still be on the iPhone. Go to Spotlight Search and search for Calendar. It should appear in the list of Apps, and if in a folder, it should provide the name of the folder it is contained in.
