iPhone Mail App icon dimmed, and badge is behind...

What’s going with the icon for my Mail App? See pic.

Didn’t change anything, iOS 13.3 is up to date.

Small blue partial dot? When using the Mail app on my iphone, there appears to be some sort of blue icon to the left of the date at the top of the screen - see screen shot. It looks like a crescent or a blue icon that is partially hidden by the edge of the screen. As far as I can tell the Mail app is the only place it appears I try to click on it and nothing happens. Any idea what this is?

Mail app On the mail app on iPad, there is an icon with 2 squares and when you hit it, it just looks like it takes a screen shot, does it do anything else. It doesn’t save the picture and doesn’t do anything I can see.

Mail icon disappeared from iPhone My mail icon on my iPhone disappeared. I found an answer in old Apple support that said the mail icon is one that cannot be deleted. It said to swipe left and the icon would be there and you could slide it to your home screen. My mail icon does not appear on the screen when I swipe left. Any ideas?

I had the exact problem. Didn't seem to affect anything but frustrating none the less.

I powered down my phone and restarted...........problem went away.
