Can I import a PDF file into the Notes app on a Mac?

Can't seem to import a PDF file into the Notes app on a Mac. Can it be done?

Hi in 10.13.6 I can drag & drop PDFs from Finder to Notes App.

thanks, I had tried that at first and I thought it didn't work but turns out was something I did wrong, works fine now
