Apple Watch Waljie Talkie won't install

Hello, I have an Apple Watch Series 5 (MWX32CH/A A2156) bought on a vacation in China. I'm trying to install the Walkie Talkie app from the App Store on the watch but it is just spinning forever. I'm able to install other apps though. I know that the Walkie Talkie feature is not available in China but I'm living in a country where it is. I think I have already tried everything to fix this issue including reseting the watch entirely. Is it locked for me because I have the Chinese model? Can I get it unlocked somehow? Thank you.
