iPhone 11 sound/speaker quality horrific

I’ve had the iPhone 11 for two days now. I’m In South Africa. The speaker/sound quality is horrific on this phone . I cannot hear the other person properly when they talk and they can’t hear me talk on the other side. The phone heats up after a 2 minute phone call , so bad that I can’t even hold it in my hand. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? All this for a two day old phone. Can apple please Address this issue?? This phone was way too expensive for issue like this.
