App won’t install

YouTube forced me to update. The update wouldn’t load and now I can’t use YouTube. When I try to open I get an error and I either have to “quit” or “update”. When I try to update, I can’t. My operating system is current, iPad is 6 years old. I’ve forced a restart and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Anyone else having this problem?

YouTube app not playing video on IPad Pro 12.9 Hello the YouTube app seems fine loading everything else but when I click on play no video plays. No error either, just keeps loading. iPadOS 16.1.1 YouTube crashing frequently YouTube crashes every time, it has become a frustration I’ve reinstalled the app but the app is not the problem is the New 16.1.1 update in my iPad.. I”m regretting it to update.. Any advice????? thanks, Alex

I am sorry, the YouTube application is not compatible with your legacy iPad model.

An possible alternative, although a little less friendly, would just be accessing m.youtube.com thru safari
