Trigger mp3 or Sound

If I have a mp3 file or wav file that has a short sound effect on it, how do I trigger it in Mainstage.

I don't want to use an external device. I want to create a software drum pad in main-stage and click on it with my mouse and have it play the sound. How can I do that?

Thanks so much for your help

Just drag it onto the mixer. As a vertical line pops up, let it drop and a channel strip with a Playback plug-in is created. The mp3 is loaded into Playback automatically. Map the play button to your workspace and you're good to go. Another option is to use the sampler / EXS24 for this. Therefore, you need to create a sampler instrument, which is pretty obvious, if you've got only one sound to play back.
