AirPods (Left AirPod keeps disconnecting)

I have a first generation AirPods that were working fine for more than 2 years. Now, all of a sudden, the left AirPod started disconnecting frequently. It works perfect for around 10~20 seconds, but it just disconnects and does not show up on the list anywhere. Once I put it back in the case and try it back on, (with the right AirPod still in my ear), it seems to work, but again, after 10~20 seconds it disconnects.

I have tried all of the solutions provided online, none of the solutions work for me. I'm not sure if it's a software issue or the hardware issue. Any help on this issue would be very helpful.

Thank you.

You may have already done so but do this again and then contact Apple. There is nothing further we can do besides what I will include below.

Try a full re-pair, reset, and try again.

Start with Unpairing/"Forgetting" the Device:

Settings > Bluetooth > Airpods > Forget this device. Confirm it.

Put both Airpods in their case, charge them via Lightning for a few minutes (or preferably until the case is 100%). Unplug them. Open the case and hold the button on the back of the case for 15+ seconds or until the light flashes white. Hold them near your iPhone and see if the pairing screen comes up and pair them. If not, repeat until it does. But if you can't see the screen pop up, then manually pair within Bluetooth.

If it doesn't work, open a case with Apple Support here: https://support.apple.com/airpods

Also please let me know the Firmware Version if it doesn't work:

Settings > General > About > AirPods > Firmware Version

Thank you for the response.

I tried doing that again, and still no luck; the left one still disconnects.

Is there a way to get support via mail for AirPods? I followed that link and got to a dead end, as there are no authorized AirPods repair center here in Nepal.

The current firmware version on the AirPods (Model A5123) is 6.8.8.
