No internal speakers

I changed the screen on my MacBook Air and when it was done and tried to change the volume there is a little round circle with a line across diagonally, I also can't find internal speakers on output nor internal microphone on input. Does anyone know what I could do to fix this?

Go step by step and test.

1. Plug in and  remove the headphone.

If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone

in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.

Sound output may be stuck in digital mode.

2. Reset PRAM.   http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18761

3. Reset SMC.

      Choose the appropriate method.
