Paid app download wont start

I am trying to purchase an app, Grande Theft Auto: San Andreas to be precise. After i press the price icon and pay with touch ID, app store asks for my password. After entering my password, I need to choose 3 security questions and provide answers for those. After pressing "done", the price icon should turn into a loading-progress icon, but it doesn't. The price remains visible as if i did not purchase the app. Also no purchase confirmation by email comes. Whats wrong?

I have re-entered my payment info.

Hello, and thanks for the reply!

Previously i had tried the aforementioned solutions. But now i actually solved this issue myself! As i mentioned before, i selected and answered the 3 security questions within the app store. Because this was the point, after which abnormal "behavior" on the process occurred, i thought that there might be something wrong with my AppleID security settings. The final cure for me was to log on to "AppleID management" (i dont remember the actual name) via web browser - as opposed to app store - and setup the security questions there. After doing this, downloading within app store started just as you'd except to.

I suggest verifying if there's a problem with your Apple ID payment method by checking for a summary in red text, as outlined in the following article: If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

If there isn't a problem with your Apple ID payment method, then test after restarting your device. Also, attempt to download while connected via Wi-Fi, and reach out to Apple Support if the issue persists.
