Maps ETA No Working

When you send an ETA from the Apple Maps app, it is either received as a notification, iMessage, or SMS message depending on the device the other person has. Check out the information below from the, "Share your ETA" section of the Follow turn-by-turn directions in Maps on iPhone article:

"People using devices with iOS 13.1, iPadOS 13.1, or later receive a Maps notification with your ETA, and they can track your progress in Maps. People using devices with earlier versions receive the notification through iMessage. People using other mobile devices receive an SMS message.

Note: Standard carrier data and text rates may apply."

I understand that when you try to share your ETA with a contact, a message with the ETA isn't shared. I'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.

When sharing, are you still standing at your currently location? You may need to start moving in order for the message to send.
