Applying Styles to Multiple Objects

I recently imported a large document with multiple tables and images into Pages.

How do I apply a style to all objects of a particular type within the document?

For example, I would like to:

Standardize the font and spacing of every table within the document
Add a uniform border to every image within the document

Since the document is quite large, I would like to do this without individually selecting each individual image or table within the document to apply these formatting changes.

Does anyone know how to standardize formatting by object type (i.e., image or table) within Pages?

The bad news: in Pages, it is not possible to automatically select all objects of a particular type.

The good news: the command key is your friend.

Click on any table, hold down the command key and then click on every other table in the document.

Now all tables are selected and you can apply the same format to them all.

The same applies to Shapes (and possibly to images).

Click on any Shape, hold down the command key and then click on every other Shape in the document.

Now all Shapes are selected and you can apply the same format to them all.

Thanks for the reply, Ian.

Unfortunately, manually selecting each individual item isn't a viable solution in this case, as this Pages document has hundreds of tables and images.

I'm surprised with all the advanced formatting features Pages has that simply applying a single style to all objects of a particular type isn't amongst them.
