iTunes library - Music collection split

I recently synced my iPhone and it has split my music collection so I now have some of my music sat within albums/artists and some under Downloaded Music. How do I get it so all my music sits together like previously? For example I have 3 disc album that I downloaded from three cds, two of them sit under albums and 1 sits within downloaded music.

Hello Krugerman,

I want to help you to isolate the cause of this music issue, and find the answers you need. First, check to make sure the iOS software is up-to-date on your device. If you're unsure of how to update the software, follow the steps on this page: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the software is updated, go to the App Store, and check to see if you have any app updates available. If so, follow these steps to Update apps or use automatic downloads

If the issue persists, please send over the following information:

  • What version of the iOS software do you currently have installed on your device? You can find this in Settings > General > About.
  • Do you subscribe to Apple Music?
  • How was music added to this device? Was it purchased, downloaded via Apple Music, or added via another source?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers!

Hi i_rina

i have check all above and still joy. I currently have the latest version iOS 13.3.1 which I updated today but no change.

I have subscribed to iTunes music but I only did this so I could try and see if this helped - which it has not.

i would say half of my iTunes music has been downloaded from cds over the years and half is from downloads.

many other suggestions would be welcome

thanks
