I’m trying to enable notifications for Snapchat but the settings don’t show the option. Is there anyway I can fix this?

The Snapchat app should ask you to allow notifications to appear on your device first before you will be able to configure how those notifications would appear on your device.

Some apps prompts you with such request when they are open for the first time after it has been installed on the device. Other apps, require you to sign in to your account and only then would ask you to allow notifications. With some other apps, you need to check in-app notifications settings and ensure those are enabled too.

So, check if you are signed in to your Snapchat account. If you are, see if there are any in-app settings for notifications and that are enabled. Otherwise, try to delete the app, restart your device before re-installing the app and going through signing into your account.
