Pages Help

I created document on pages for (icloud). Somehow I have inserted blue lines on my document. It does not appear on print preview but its there when I add pages to the document. I know there must be a simple click of a button to get rid of this. How do I get rid of the blue lines appearing on the pages document. Thanks

Do the 'blue lines' look like one of these three:

Most 'blue' items are formatting characters, normally invisible, but viewable when you choose "Show invisibles" in the View menu.

The three shown here are a Page break, a Section break, and a Column break.

If you see them, you should also see the Space marker (a blue dot showing where you typed a space) and a Pilcrow ( ¶ ), sowing where you pressed return to start a new paragraph.

To remove them got View > Hide ivisibles.

Barry
