activation lock
I have an iPad and I deleted it from my iTunes account but when I try to reset the iPad it is set on activation lock and when I put in the Apple ID it says it can't be used to unlock it. What do I do????

Hello,
The iPad is locked with Activation Lock. There is no way around unlocking Activation Lock without inserting the device’s associated Apple ID. If this is not an option you will have to find the original receipt for the device that clearly shows the serial number. Once you have this document then bring the receipt and iPad into an Apple retail location.

The iPad is probably 5 years old so no receipt in sight. My problem is....it is not listed on my Apple ID. SO when I put the Apple ID info in it it says it can't be used. So I'm not sure how I can do what you said when there is no receipt and the correct apple id doesn't work.
