Why can I not register Touch ID after authorized apple repair?

On my MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2016 my keyboard has been replaced by an authorized apple repair agent. (They said it will be sent to Apple).

At first when i received it back, Touch ID could be used normally. I didn't need to re-register Touch ID.

After 2 days, Touch ID is not working anymore. I receive the following messages:

> No Touch ID registered

> But: also the max count of finger prints are registered. I can't register a new finger print.

How should I go forward?

Would a complete new set up of my MacBook Pro help?

Do I need to send it to Apple again?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15
