Videos will not transfer to PC

Perhaps you should re-read my post?! It has nothing to do with the video format. Once I am able to get them on my Windows system, either 7 or 10, the videos play just fine. It's just that I cannot directly copy/paste or move the video files from the phone to the computer...I have to sit here and move them all and hit the stupid 'Try Again' 15 times to get it to copy over! Any video from my 8 or 6 that was copied directly over to the X, transfers just fine however I try it. Additionally... the error that is most common when I try this is in the screenshot below:

It's like it gets to 95% and then drops the connection. So it's a communication error between the phone and computer, but it is not the computer, cable, USB ports or OS version.

So now...for sharts and giggles, and to try and capture the original error I was receiving, I tried to copy/paste one of the video files that had given me an error earlier...but after several 'Try Again' presses...finally copied over. I created a new folder on my desktop and it copy/pasted over without a hitch?! Is it because it already exists on my computer? ****** if I know? However, I had my wife send me another video from her XR...I saved it to my phone and then tried to copy/paste it into the new folder...and guess what? Same exact original error as shown above. So there is something screwy with the Iphone...well, something newly screwy with it anyway! Hopefully someone from Apple will see this and have an answer?!
