Samsung app keeps asking for the password

I Would Inform Apple of this. Let them know of this inconvenience. Being that there is no direct Apple Feedback link for the TV app...

2. Select: Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Proceed from there as necessary.

I have this problem too. I am unable to purchase any Apple TV content on the Samsung app. I have changed the settings to Never, but this does not work.

I have switched to buying the same content available on Amazon Prime.

I thought of that but didn't see a downloads function the app. Tried resetting and checking for software updates, but these functions don't exist on the app. Will try your suggestion and hope it works. Otherwise, I can get the same content on Amazon Prime.

I have an iPhone. I bought a new one after setting up the Samsung app. I thought that might be the problem so reset the Samsung app and signed back in. No luck.

there is no apple tv device. It is the apple tv app run by samsung.

If you have an apple tv device, you need to switch the source of Samsung to this apple tv device

Reset Caches:

Try unplugging your Apple TV’s power for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. There are probably some caches that need to be reset.
