Adobe Illustrator and new os from Apple

Is it possible to get Adobe Illustrator 6 to work on mac? I don't like that I can no longer open my files and didn't realize when I upgraded to the latest operating system from Apple that this was not going to work at all. I do not want to have to go to a subscription service from Adobe.

I'm assuming that Adobe 6 is a 32 bit app. None of your 32 bit apps will work with Catalina. Your choice is to reinstall your former OS, subscribe to the newer version of Illustrator or find another alternative app. Sorry, but we've been told by Apple for several years now that this was coming and now it has happened.
