contact name and number not showing

HI from few days when i search for some one contact, its only show only e-mail address not actual phone number.

When I wrote some one contact number to ring that person, its show both number and e -mail address.

When i search in contact its only show as e-mail not actual contact number.

Its really hard to contact any one because its showing only e-mail address.

iPhone XS, iOS 13

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand searching for contacts only has the email address appear. I'll gladly help in any wya I can.

Here are some suggestions:

If you have multiple entries for the contact, make sure they are linked. Open Contacts, select the Contact then 'Edit' then 'link contacts...'
Check your accounts for contacts to be sure they are still be synced in Settings > Passwords & Accounts.
Restart your iPhone
