Apple ID passowrd - updating app

The apple ID password required to update an app isn't my apple ID. what can I do?

The AppStore is on my acount but somehow the specific app is on another account, and now I can't update and use the app because it requires a password of the first owner Apple ID's (probably the first download of the app was on his behalf.

Delete the app and download the app using your Apple ID. You may need to restart the device after deleting the app to 'reset' the App Store.
