Out-of-box iPhone XS iOS version?

What would be the iOS version if I purchase a new iPhone XS today? I know it can updated to the LATEST iOS 13.X.X, but what would the Out-of-box iOS version be?

Since XS was discontinued by Apple last September, nobody can give you a proper answer, 'cause it depends on the date whan that XS was boxed and sealed. You'll discover the running iOS version when you unbox that device.

Since Apple does not sell the iPhone XS officially in their Online Store, it may still have iOS 12 installed.
