I cannot open iMessages

I haven't been able to open iMessages on my Mac for a while now. I can't open it from the Applications folder and I can't force quit it.

Hi viviangarcia,

Have you tried rebooting your Mac to see if that solves your issue?

One thing you could do since you said you can't force quit it. open a search window by holing down command space bar and type: activity viewer. From here you can find Messages (iMessages) and force quit it this way.

After rebooting your machine it should open.

I hope this helps.
