homepod software update

Apple released iOS 13.3.1 and I installed it on my iPad yesterday evening. After that update, the Home app was able to update my HomePod successfully. This has now been resolved.

I opened a case with Apple Support earlier today and was told that this was a known problem and that very few HomePods had this particular issues with the code update. I was told to check this again in a few days for an update to the Home app which Apple is actively working on. So, for now, I wait on an update to the Home app which is where the issue is occurring.
