If you purchase a new iPhone, it will come with a one year warranty and there is the option to purchase additional coverage with AppleCare. You can read more about this in the following links:

The iPhone 7 was released in 2016 so it’s not yet considered vintage or obsolete.

Apple no longer sells the iPhone 7, so the only source is from retailer’s remaining stock. While there is no way to predict how long it will get iOS updates, its predecessor, the 6S, can still be updated to iOS 13. But even if it can’t be updated in the future it will still work with whatever iOS version it has installed.
