Payment method declined, but working for subscriptions only



Apple says my payment method is declined for one app, but works fine for renewing subscriptions on the same day. Can't edit/delete the payment account, as it says subscriptions are active, even tho i tried cancelling all my subscriptions before trying again. Can't add the payment method again, as it says it's been already used.

Please help.

I see that your payment method was declined, and you're having trouble correcting this. Good job on the troubleshooting you've tried, and I'm glad to help with this.


If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store -- You may or may not have seen these messages, but the steps in this article can help. Instead of editing or deleting the current payment method, add a new one instead. You should be able to remove the old one now.
