mac mini boots with no display After disk utility wipe

I recently wiped my drive for a fresh install of OSX. After I wiped with disk utility I did another reboot but absolutely nothing comes up. I know I correctly wiped the drive as I’ve done this very often (not with this machine) but still it acts as nothing is being displayed to any monitor. Any ideas?

Mac mini, macOS 10.14

You need to startup in macOS Recovery and reinstall macOS.

If you are using a wireless keyboard? It is now unpaired after wiping the drive and you may need to use a USB keyboard to enter macOS Recovery. (FWIW you can use most any generic or windows USB keyboards)
