How to open a...... exe.lnk ............ file???

I have a file on a Flash Drive titled..... iexplore.exe.lnk ...... when I try to open it, a box pops up that states that there is no default application to open it.

Is there any way to open the file?

Thank you,

.exe files are similar to .app files on a mac. There is a Application called Crossover by Codeweavers and works very well. The file iexsplorer.exe Internet Explorer which is one of the worst Web Broswers on internet.

Crossover has two forms of itself. Crossover and Crossover Games. Crossover is more for Application like the iexsplorer.exe you wanted to open up. Crossover Games is more for games. I have been able to run Modern Warfare 2 off of Crossover Games fine.

Thank you all for your answers, and solution. My wife and I were in Niagara Falls for the past week, and we went on the Whirlpool Jet Boats there. It was a one hour ride, and what a rush that was.... 1500 horsepower... at speeds of over 55 mph.

Pictures were taken from the shore as we went through the Class 5 rapids. We could buy prints of ourselves after the ride, and also could purchase a Flash Drive that contained more .jpegs of the trip and also a video.... those came out great....

The iexplore.exe.lnk was also a file on the Drive, and I was wondering what it was for.

I know it is off-topic, but there are video's on Youtube of the Niagara Whirlpool JetBoats if anyone wants to take a look.

Thanks again,

Jim
