Hi,
I have a few home videos (mp4) that I added to the Apple TV app on my Mac.
I have Media Sharing on but I cannot see my videos on my iPad nor on my Apple TV, they do not show up.
Is this possible? if not, does Apple have any product where I can do that? I rather use an apple prod but if not, I would need to do it thru Plex ($).

Have you activated Private share in System Preferences?
On the iPad in Preferences scroll down to the TV App. there you have to
activate the private share to with the same Apple ID.
Then in the TV App there will be shown as a private share.

Hey... thank you for the tip... I did not have that option, not sure why, but that made me take another look at my sharing on my Mac, and this worked after I "clicked" on the share my media with guest, that is the only way I got it to work, no matter I had the same Apple ID on all my devices, if I do not click on that one, it does not work.
