Hi, I am trying to back up my daughters phone for the first time.
The USB connects to my laptop, the iPhone battery sign turns green on the laptop & the charging sign shows on the phone. But.....as I try to back it up it keeps saying that the phone has been disconnected.
Any ideas please?

It's possible that the phone is already backing up to iCloud, in which case it won't back up to the computer. You can check on the phone:
