iphone 11 saying temp too hot randomly

Hi,

My new iphone 11 (2 weeks) has been displaying the temperature warning multiple times a day. Sometimes the phone is in use and other times i just go to check the screen and it's up. The phone never feels hot to the touch. I turn it off and then turn it back on and it's fine til the next time it happens. I have it updated and have checked the battery health. All good. Does this mean I have a lemon?

Thank you for the help.

Call Apple Support.

The only time I’ve seen the temperature warnings was when the iPhone was in a physically hot location.

If you’re presently inside the published environmental specs, there’s some sort of issue with this device.

Operating ambient temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)
Non‑operating temperature: −4° to 113° F (−20° to 45° C)
Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
Operating altitude: tested up to 10,000 feet (3000 m)
