No, Apple will not unlock the phone unless you have the original purchase receipt from when the phone was first purchased and it would have to show the serial number of the phone.

It appears that you bought an iPhone online and it is activation locked. Your question is how to get it activated. You will not be able to activate that iPhone without the cooperation of the previous owner of that iPhone. Go back to whom you bought the iPhone from and asked them to provide the unlocking credentials or have the previous owner remove the iPhone from their device list associated with their Apple ID. My best advice is to return the iPhone and get a full refund.

You can take your iPhone there to have it examined however Apple is not going to be able to unlock the activation for you. It has to be the previous owner whom you need to talk to (the seller). Did you contact the seller and ask them what is going on?

Call or visit Express Marketing and tell them that you cannot activate the iPhone and that you want them to activate it in front of you and if that doesn't work then demand your money back or exchange it with an iPhone that works. If this phone from this seller came Activation Locked, it almost always means you purchased a used iPhone. The fact you have the box and a receipt from this seller won't get you any assistance from Apple. You said you have the original purchase receipt. If you have the receipt from the seller, that is not the original receipt from when the phone was originally sold. You need to take this phone back to the seller, not Apple. Either the seller must remove Activation Lock or give you your money back.

Where did you buy it from? Who was the seller that sold you the iPhone?
