What does 'spool area full' mean in HP Photosmart 7520?

I am unable to print photos. I designate 'photo tray' for the correct size photo paper. I have done this many times before. In the 'Supply Levels' of System Preferences/Printers & Scanners'/Open Print Queue/Photosmart 7520/Settings/Supply Levels' below the ink levels it says "Spool Area Full / Other". What does that mean?

When I try to print, the printer spits out a blank photo paper.

What to do?

iMac 27", macOS 10.15

That is normally "printer speak" for the printer does not have adequate memory to hold jobs. Sometimes a simple restart of the computer and printer solves the issue.
