Third Party App User ID and Password

I purchased a subscription to an app through App Store. Now, the app is asking user name and passward to log in. Developer says it should be my Apple ID and passward. Apple says developer should give me one. I can’t get service i paid for. Please assist

In App Subscriptions I just purchased the Discovery+ subscription recently through my AppleTV, but was not given any login info for the separate website/app itself and my AppleID is not a valid login when attempting to use those platforms. Am I missing something?

Did you try using your Apple ID and password? If you tried that and it didn't work, have you contacted the Developer again?
