How to stop texts from email accounts

I’m getting texts to a block of 20 numbers, including Mine, from gmail accounts. They are sex spam messages and the list of recipients goes off on a huge group text. This is happening about 3-5 times a week and is very annoying. I would like to turn off receiving texts from email accounts. At first I would add them as a contact then block that email address but then soon found that was useless as they come from different email addresses every time.

Are these SMS texts? If so, forward them to your carrier. Most will have an short code for SPAM texts. Whenever I have forwarded spam SMS to my carrier (AT&T, who uses 7726 for spam reports) those messages have stopped cold in very short order. They don’t like those sorts of spammers cluttering up an already massively busy SMS text service.
