how do I update my iphone 6 to 12.4, not 13.3?

If you start the iOS update process, Apple will always install the latest iOS that is compatible with your device.

As of today, in the case of an iPhone 6s, iOS 13.3.1 will be installed.

Older iOS 12 versions will not be signed anymore from Apple for the iPhone 6s.
