Web links don't work: sites crash when loading

While my iPad connects wirelessly to the internet, it will not load webpages. They come up, crash, then an error message tells me to Try Again. I have reduced the amounts of data stored, and cleared the history of Safari which is the default browser. What can I do to correct this problem?

Web pages slow to load I’m having trouble with browsing the web on my iPhone XS. I frequently have issues where I’m browsing in safari (or the browser in apps like Facebook) and when scrolling down a web page the page goes blank. It will then stay blank for several seconds and eventually the next “chunk” of the pages loads. I scroll down further and the same thing happens, like the page is loading in small chunks. Sometimes I have to completely quit and reopen the browser. I’ve tried chrome but it also happens with that app too. My home wifi is reasonably fast so I don’t think it’s my connection. I’m on iOS 16.2. Does anyone have any advice?
