Hello guys, I’m Shiva just wondering if anyone have solutions for my old iPod touch bought in 2008/9. Apple says it is considered vintage that’s why it’s not allowing me to install any latest app.
The up to date firmware is 6.1.6 and model number is MC544ZP/A
An iOS device running 6.1.6 can't be updated further or to install any application versions requiring 7.0 or above.

Thank you Niel for responding, ya I found out. Now what should I do? Take it to apple store and trade in?
Apple does not accept trade-ins. They will recycle it for you though.
